What we keep when you write to us, why, and how to have it removed.
Who we are
This website is run by (name of the group running this site), the group organising the temple. You can reach us at vncanada.bc@gmail.com.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us through the form or by email: your name, your email address, where you live if you tell us, what you would like to do, and your message.
The website does not use cookies or analytics, and loads nothing from other websites. The company that hosts the site may keep standard server logs.
How the form works
The form does not send anything by itself. It opens your own email app with your answers filled in, and nothing is sent until you press send there.
Email is not completely private, so please do not send passport numbers, bank details or other sensitive information.
Why we use your details
- To reply to you.
- To send news about the temple, if you asked for it.
- To contact you about the temple society or volunteering, if you asked.
- To write to you when the temple can accept gifts, if you asked.
Who sees them
Only the people organising the temple. We do not sell your details, and we do not give them to anyone else without your consent unless the law requires it.
How long we keep them
For as long as you want to hear from us. Ask at any time and we will delete them.
Your choices
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or have them deleted. Every news email will say how to stop receiving them. Write to vncanada.bc@gmail.com.
