Be part of the temple from the start
The temple is still being planned. Here is how you can take part.
-
Stay informed
We will write when there is news: the plans, the approvals and the day the temple opens. We send news only to people who ask for it, and you can stop it at any time.

Help form the temple society
The temple will be built and run by a temple society: a Buddhist charity with a sponsoring Buddhist order. We are looking for people to help start it, serve on it and volunteer: at festivals, in the kitchen, with classes, or with skills such as building, bookkeeping and translation.

Give, when the time comes
We are not taking donations yet. Once the temple society is registered as a charity with the Canada Revenue Agency, it can accept gifts and give official receipts for income tax. If you would like to give then, add your name and we will write to you when it is ready. Adding your name is not a promise to give.
Add your name
Until then, please do not send money to anyone who asks for it in the temple's name. If someone does, tell us at vncanada.bc@gmail.com.
Write to us
Fill this in and your email app will open with your answers, ready to send. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to write to us.
